Low Velocity Canopies at The Rise: Titirangi, Auckland

The Rise was completed June 2021 with a focus on local, niche and quality operators that would mesh with the local community. HoodMaster provided all 4 tenancies with low velocity canopies, featuring return air and sliding plate dampers - which allowed easy commissioning of the hoods whoch were all connected to one common exhaust fan.

Production Kitchen Canopies at Libelle Group, Hamilton

​Libelle Group is the leading school food and beverage service provider in New Zealand. HoodMaster were asked to design a system to handle an extreme steam cooking environment. Using the latest air flow calculation techniques and our unique dual filter & make up air hoods we were able to handle a large extract volume whilst providing the much needed return air at the hood. The system works well due to the engineered design and extract calculation methods used minimising the risk of condensation build up which was one of the key critera for this project.

Onehunga High School Training Kitchens

HoodMaster supplied the 4 island type, low velocity range hoods for the new re-development at Onehunga High School. These return air hoods, provide a balanced airflow throughout the two large kitchen spaces, ensuring a quiet and comfortable working environment for the teachers and students.

Auckland Production Kitchen

Silver Fern Farms, Dunedin.

A Place to fuel innovation, the new Silver Fern Farms workplace in Dunedin also features a TV recording studio. This required the quietest type of commercial kitchen range hood, which was why HoodMaster was chosen to supply the Low Velocity Canopy. Utilising our unique design features and fitted with filters front and back, the range hood is able to operate at a very low velocities whilst capturing all the smoke and steam generated from the cooking process. this was key for a project where they wanted to hear the presenters talking and not the range hood working.

Aitutaki resort, Cook Islands

This beautiful resort is also the only private island resort in the Cook Islands yet is just a 2-minute ride by private ferry from the main island of Aitutaki. HoodMaster Limited alongside Wildfire Commercial Kitchens provided a new low velocity return air hood.

Te Arai Links Golf Course, North of Pakiri

Te Arai Links is a golf resort in the North Island of New Zealand. The resort is named after the Te Arai coast where it is located, north of Pakiri and south of Mangawhai. The property borders one of New Zealand’s prime surf beaches, and includes 11 kilometres of ocean frontage and 225 acres of sand dunes. Positioned alongside a pristine New Zealand coastline, Te Arai Links is a world class golf destination. HoodMaster are proud to have supplied the low velocity range hoods for the kitchens at this world class location.

Custom Bakery Extraction Hood and Low Air Flow Deli Hood at Countdown, Pokeno

HoodMaster provided both the Deli Hood and large bespoke Bakery Canopy for the latest Countdown Pokeno strore.

Low Velocity Range Hood at Lupino Italian Bistro, Mission Bay

Lupino Italian Bistro is located in the heart of Auckland's Mission Bay.
Working alongside the owner, Hoodmaster replaced the customer's existing hood with a new low height, low velocity range hood whilst replacing the roof mounted extract fan and ductwork.

Full Installation and New Canopies at Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club

Ten Pin Bowling, Darts, Indoor Bowls, Lawn bowls, Snooker and 8 Ball are just some of the activities on offer. With hundreds of members, catering is at the heart of the club.
Hoodmaster were tasked with designing and manufacturing new hoods and the mechanical services for the new PukekoheCosmopolitan Club. We installed 3 new low velocity canopies along with 2 exhaust fans and 1.2 gauge ductwork. We also supplied the Oceania Gas Safety solenoid and CT1200S gas interlock panel.

Low Velocity Range Hood at U Sushi, Ellerslie

HoodMaster provided the extract only, low velocity range hood for this Sushi Shop in Ellerslie, Auckland. Featuring an internal condense channel, stainless stee lbaffle type grease filters and IP65 rated LED lighting. Hoodmaster also supplied the CT1200S Gas Safety Interlock Panel.

UV Return Air Hoods at Auckland City Mission

HoodMaster supplied 4, UV-C low velocity, return air filtration hoods to the new Auckland City Mission. Our UV-C lamps generate a high concentration of ozone, breaking down the grease in the ductwork, which reduces the risk of fire and lowers maintenance costs. Our UV systems are New Zealand made, and we are able to offer a full installation and commissioning service anywhere in the country.
